Introduction

An instance pool is a configuration for efficiently managing and deploying instances in environments. It serves as a group of instances that share common characteristics and settings, simplifying the management of multiple instances with similar requirements.

An instance pool can be created with auto scaling (regardless of the cloud provider), with auto replacement, and more. You can also create an Instance Pool and configure an External Host to connect any VM or physical server.

Instance pools can be configured with persistent volumes that are shared between services. In such cases, you can enable backup options to protect your data. However, for better scalability and reliability, we do not recommend using instance pools with persistent volumes.
